#17 Clive Sheridan — Meditation, Practicing Stillness, Solitude & Silence

In this episode we’re joined by Clive Sheridan, friend, artist and Director of the newly established Lundberg Gallery. Clive has been one of the most interesting people that we have met since moving up to Murwillumbah. Through Clive’s perspective we are connected to the intimate histories within objects and ourselves.

In this Ep of DOP, Clive shares his story of being guided by his surrogate mother Mary shortly after her passing, to what now is Lundberg Gallery. The Fine Art Gallery has been a magical addition to our town and hosts a range of melding genres of landscape, figuration, abstract and conceptual art. The red thread through the genres is the artists dedication to contemplative, committed practice.

Clive shares his own practice and wisdom and relationship with the three S’s - silence, solitude and stillness and how this practice has been critical in deepening connection and understanding of himself and his journey as an artist.
